I have some exciting news that I can now share on my blog. I have been commissioned by 2Simple to write books for Serial Mash.
Serial Mash is an online package for schools to enable them to use books to help teach aspects of the curriculum. I will be writing for 9-11 year olds and have already got the outline for my first story which will hopefully be available to the schools signed up to Serial Mash in the Summer term, 2017. If you'd like to find out more about this, or are interested in Serial Mash for your own school, click on the link: Serial Mash. I am going to be doing a number of school visits during the week of World Book Day (THURSDAY 2 MARCH 2017). Because of this I want to extend my competition deadline to give as many children as possible the chance to enter.
The deadline is now SATURDAY 1 APRIL 2017. That gives you loads of time to think of some great names. Remember it is free to enter, but you do need to have parental persmission so that I can contact you. Find out more by visiting my competition page. As a special Christmas offer you can buy a personalised copy of Jarred Dreams for just £5 (+pp) by clikcing on my buy books page: take up the £5 offer
For those of you who missed it....
You can listen again to my interview on the radio about my favourite book: The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O'Farrell. Listen by clicking here: SADN Radio Listen Online tab, Scroll down to Talking Bookshelf archive. Take a look at my daughter, Sasha, gobbling up the Helen Moss books. I got four out of the library yesterday and she has already read two of them! Page turners, obviously. Sasha is a chip off the old block, as they say. Not sure I like that expression much. Am I an old block? Rhetorical.
