If you're in or around Cambridge today please some and see me.
I'm at Parkers Piece as part of The Big Read (run by 52 Stories) at The Big Weekend which is part of the Cambridge Live Festival. Parkers Piece is a big open green bit very near The Queen's Arcade. You can join in too if you like? It really makes a big difference, so thank you!
I visit quite a few local schools so sometimes when I'm walking down the street a reader will say hello to me. It's fantastic - I feel like a celebrity! I was at my daughter's sports day yesterday and a girl said, "Hello Camilla!" "Hello!" "I read EATS. It was brilliant!" "Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed it." Massive smile. I mean, come on, what more does an author need? Brilliant? She said it was brilliant! Tomorrow (Saturday 8 July) I am appearing at the 52 Stories Festival at Parker's Piece, Cambridge at 2pm.
It is all totally FREE and loads of great stuff happening for kids of all ages. It runs from 12-4pm. Be great to see you there! Here's the link to find out more: 52 Stories Or you can go to their Facebook Page |
