I'm currently doing a very sneaky, secret read....this is the second time in the last two weeks that I've done this.

I bought this book as one of the presents for my daughter, Sasha's, birthday. She is ten tomorrow. Thing is, I really wanted to read it so I've started it, being super careful not to break the spine, or spill anything on it etc etc. Also, she can't see the book so I have to sneakily read it behind closed doors and squirrel the book away in drawers.

I managed to do the same for the book I am giving my other daughter, Fay who turns  thirteen tomorrow (yes, same birthday!) but I'm not sure I'll get away with it twice. Fay's book, if you're interested is Contagion by Teri Terry. Managed to get that one signed...not so lucky with Frank Cottrell Boyce.

I realise that I haven't updated the 'What Am I Reading?' bit on my blog for ages!

As you can see at the moment I am reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but before that I read Suzie Wilde's viking adventure: The Book of Bera and before that it was Teri Terry's latest book Contagion. Both those books were the first of trilogies and not recommended for anyone under the age of 13. In fact the viking one is probably only suitable for older, more like 14.

This though, well it's Harry Potter - I doubt you need age guidance on that!

Remember my Gromit? The one I covered in words from my debut, Jarred Dreams, for charity? Well, I've just found out that the auction has finished and he has finally gone to his new home.
He managed to raise £125 - thank you to his mystery new owner. I hope he'll be very happy there!
