Today I met up with Rob Pearman of Talking Newspaper to be interviewed for the radio alongside Deborah Heath, who is one of the St Albans Literary Festival organisers and local playwright. The interview will be aired on Radio Verulam on 23 June. Listen out folks!

I have now updated the site so it takes credit/debit cards and not just paypal. Getting the hang of this now (I hope). Although my blog posts keep disappearing. What is that about?

All writers read a lot - fact.

I always ask what my friends are reading, so I thought I would blog now and again about what I've got my nose in. 

At the moment I am reading, The Time of the Ghost by Diana Wynne Jones, to Fay and Sasha. It  is a bit scary and very odd, but beautifully written. For myself I'm reading The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness. I picked up a signed copy at Harpenden Book Shop. This  is another odd, but beautifully written book. Can you see a theme? If I tell you I've just finished Beetle Boy by MG Leonard then I think you can guess my taste.

I do read adult books too - honestly. In fact, I've just finished A Dictionary of Mutual Understanding by Jackie Copleton. I thought this was good and I enjoyed it. I've noticed it has made it onto the Richard and Judy list. How do I get on that list?
